Our party and state leaders have attached great importance to the issue and instructed relevant authorities to spare no efforts to rescue them. Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Commerce and other departments of the State Council and the Chinese Embassy in Nigeria launched immediately emergency mechanism and began to coordinate and work with all sides. Thanks to our efforts, the kidnapped workers were all safely rescued on January 17 local time. The Chinese Government appreciates Nigeria's support and cooperation.
