Shandong Deputy Governor Visits Nigeria

From July 31st to August 3rd, 2009, Wang Junmin, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee and deputy governor of the Shandong Provincial People's Government, headed a provincial business delegation to visit Nigeria at the invitation of the Minister of State of Federal Capital Territory Administration Chuka Odom. On August 1st, Deputy-Governor Wang visited the Ogun State, where he held talks with the State Governor Otunba Gbenga Daniel and attended the business promotion fair hosted by the enterprises of Ogun and Shandong. On August 3rd, he called upon Abuja and met with FCT Minister of State Chuka Odom and visited some Chinese enterprises there. Chinese Charge d'affaires Wang Lei and commercial counsellor Rong Yansong accompanied the delegation during their activities in Abuja.

 

The visiting Shandong business delegation consists of relevant Shandong local government departments and over 30 large enterprises in telecommunication, IT, construction material, aquatic products, and maritime farming.
