Ambassador Fan Yong Attends Enko Botho’s Muli-Cultural Fair

On June 6, Ambassador Fan Yong and his wife Counselor Cui Yin attended Enko Botho’s Muli-Cultural Fair. The Fair featured booths from various countries and attracted hundreds of local visitors.

At the Chinese booth, a traditional lion dance performance was presented, together with cultural activities including tea show, calligraphy and paper-cutting, vividly showcasing the unique charm of traditional Chinese culture. Many visitors said that the activities not only helped them gain a deeper appreciation of the richness of Chinese culture, but also inspired their interest in learning more about China.

The event was part of the “China-Africa Year of People-to-People Exchanges” series and was hosted by the Chinese Embassy in Botswana and organized by the More Joy Chinese Culture Club.
