China's foreign trade up 16.9% in the first half of 2026

China's foreign trade in goods rose 16.9 percent year-on-year in the first half of 2026 to 25.47 trillion yuan, according to the General Administration of Customs on Tuesday.

In June alone, the country's goods imports and exports totaled 4.78 trillion yuan, up 24.2 percent from a year earlier.
