| Nigerian president leaves Beijing for Hubei |

Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo left Beijing April 15th for central Hubei Province, the second leg of his China visit. Obasanjo arrived here 12th, starting a four-day state visitto China as guest of Chinese President Hu Jintao. Hu met with Obasanjo Thursday afternoon. The two countries issued a joint communique on 15th. Besides Beijing and Hubei, Obasanjo will also visit Shanghai. This is Obasanjo's third visit to China after assuming the presidency in February 1999. He is now visiting China in the capacity of both Nigerian president and rotating president of the African Union.
