Leaders of Lesotho reiterate adherence to one China policy
2007/12/05

King of Lesotho Letsie III and Lesotho's Prime Minister Pakalitha Mosisili said on Monday Lesotho will always stick to the one China policy and will never establish any official links with Taiwan.

Lesotho will continue to adhere to the one China policy until the complete reunification of China is realized, King Letsie III told Ablet Abdulrixit, the visiting vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), during a meeting.

At a separate meeting with the Chinese guest, Premier Mosisili also pledged that Lesotho will never have any official links with Taiwan. Taiwan is an inalienable part of China, Mosisili said.

The leaders of the African country also spoke highly of China-Lesotho relations and expressed sincere thanks for the huge amounts of assistance China has provided to their country over a long period of time.
