Zimbabwean President Mugabe Meets with Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Zhai Jun

On April 24, 2009, Zimbabwean President Robert Gabriel Mugabe met with visiting Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Zhai Jun in Harare, capital of Zimbabwe. Zimbabwean Foreign Minister Simbarashe Mumbengegwi, Chinese Ambassador to Zimbabwe Yuan Nansheng and other officials were present at the meeting. Both sides had an in-depth exchange of views on how to further bilateral ties as well as other issues of common concern. Zhai and Mumbengegwi also signed the economic cooperation agreement and other deals between the two countries. President Mugabe witnessed the signing of the documents.
