The Mauritius Final Rounds of the Chinese Bridge Competitions for College and Secondary School Students Successfully Held in Mauritius

On 6 June, the Mauritius Final Rounds of the 25th Chinese Bridge-Chinese Proficiency Competition for College Students and the 19th Chinese Bridge-Chinese Proficiency Competition for Secondary School Students were successfully held at the University of Mauritius. H.E. Ambassador Dr. Huang Shifang attended the event and presented awards to the winners. Professor Kavi Kumar Khedo, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Mauritius, Prof. Yang Fang, Chinese Director of the Confucius Institute at the University of Mauritius, and Dr. Kishtama, Mauritian Director of the Institute, were also present.
The event was hosted by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Mauritius and organized by the Confucius Institute at the University of Mauritius. Karen Robinson from the University of Mauritius and Divsha Jharittaya from Gaetan Raynal State College won first place in the university student category and the secondary school student category respectively.
