The Secretariat of the Chinese Follow-up Committee of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) Holds Collective Consultation with the Diplomatic Envoys of African Countries to China
On June 6, 2019, the Secretariat of the Chinese Follow-up Committee of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) held collective consultation with the diplomatic envoys of African countries to China. Secretary General of the Chinese Follow-up Committee of the FOCAC and Director-General of the Department of African Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Dai Bing co-chaired the consultation with Senegalese Ambassador to China Mamadou Ndiaye, whose country holds the FOCAC co-chair. Head of the African Diplomatic Corps to China and Cameroonian Ambassador to China Martin Mpana, and diplomatic envoys of other African countries and the African Union to China were present. The two sides exchanged in-depth views on the preparation for the Sherpa Meeting of Implementing Outcomes of the FOCAC Beijing Summit and reached broad consensus.
