Four -Point Proposal of the Chinese side

  In his address at the opening ceremony of the Ministerial Conference, Premier Wen Jiabao put forward a four-point proposal on how to further China-Africa friendship and cooperation:

• Continue to move forward the traditional China-Africa friendship through mutual support;
  
•  Promote democratization of international relations through intensified consultation;
  
•  Jointly meet the challenges of globalization through coordination of positions;
  
•  Turn a new chapter in China-Africa friendly relations through enhanced cooperation.
