Chinese Ambassador to Botswana Fan Yong Briefs Botswana Media on the Outcomes of Botswana President H.E. Duma Gideon Boko's State Visit to China

On October 21, the Chinese Embassy in Botswana held a media briefing at which Ambassador Fan Yong introduced the outcomes of Botswana President H.E. Duma Gideon Boko's State Visit to China and the latest development in China Botswana relations. More than 50 participants attended the event, including journalists from mainstream Chinese and Botswana media outlets, such as BTV Radio Botswana, Xinhua News Agency and CGTN, as well as representatives from Botswana think tanks and Universities.

Ambassador Fan gave a detailed introduction to the outcomes and significance of President Boko's visit to China from five aspects: Political Mutual Trust Reaches a "New Leap", Inter-Party and Legislative Exchanges Lead to "New Heights", Mining Cooperation Establishes "New Principles", Practical Cooperation and Investment Expansion: Unlocking "New Opportunities", Local Visits and Cultural Exchanges Display "New Vitality". He stated that the Chinese Embassy in Botswana is ready to work hand in hand with Botswana side to fully implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, continuously advance the China-Botswana Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership.
