【Area】752,614 km2
【Population】16.59 million (2016), most of which belong to the Bantu-speaking Africans. There are 73 ethnic groups, with the Bemba being the largest (33.6% of the population). The official language is English and there are a large number of tribe languages. 80% of the population are Christians.
【Capital】Lusaka, with a total population of 3.1 million. Its altitude is 1,280 m. October is the hottest season with average highest temperature of 31℃ and lowest of 18 ℃. July is the coolest season, with average highest temperature of 23℃ and lowest of 9℃.
【Head of State】President Edgar Chagwa Lungu took office in 13 September, 2016.

【Geography and Climate】Zambia is a landlocked country in Central and Southern Africa, neighboring Malawi and Mozambique to the east, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia to the south, Angola to the west, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Tanzania to the north. Most of the areas are between 1,000 and 1,500 m above sea level. It is tropical savanna climate. From May to August, it is cool dry seasons with temperature of 15 to 27℃. From September to November, it is hot dry season with temperature of 26 to 36℃. From December to April, it is rainy season, with temperature of 18 to 20℃.
